Core Advantages

Why Use QuickFileTools for AVIF to PNG Converter?

Transparency preserved

Logos, stickers and cut-outs keep their see-through background, which JPG cannot do.

Lossless output

PNG does not add compression artifacts, so the pixels you get are exactly the ones your browser decoded from the AVIF.

Works in any editor

PNG opens in Photoshop, Canva, Office, Figma and every browser, including the ones that cannot read AVIF.

Nothing leaves your device

The conversion runs locally, so private images stay private and there is no upload to wait for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does AVIF to PNG keep the transparent background?
Yes. If your AVIF has an alpha channel, the PNG keeps it. Choose AVIF to JPG instead only if you want a solid background.
Why is the PNG bigger than my AVIF?
AVIF compresses photos very efficiently, while PNG is lossless. A PNG of the same photo is often several times larger. That is normal; for a smaller file choose JPG.
Will the PNG look exactly like my AVIF?
It will look the same as the image your browser shows. PNG stores those decoded pixels without losing anything further.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding and PNG creation both happen in your browser on your own device.
Why does it say my browser could not decode the file?
The tool uses your browser’s AVIF support. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 16 or newer support it. Update your browser if you see that message.
