Core Advantages

Why Use QuickFileTools for Bank Statement PDF to Excel Converter?

Balance check on every row

Each line is tested as previous balance plus credit minus debit equals the printed balance. Rows that do not reconcile are highlighted, so a misread amount cannot hide in your books.

Private by design

The PDF is read by your browser. No upload, no account and no server copy of your client’s statement. It even keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

Reads many bank layouts

The table is found from its column headings and positions, so different banks, wrapped narrations, newest-first statements and lakh-style amounts are handled. When no header can be read, columns are inferred from the data.

No page limit

Convert a full-year statement of hundreds of pages. Pages are processed one at a time, so the browser tab stays responsive.

Tally Prime XML

Creates a Receipt voucher for every credit and a Payment voucher for every debit, with your bank ledger and counter ledger names. Import it with Import Data in Tally.

Merge several statements

Add a statement per quarter or per account year. They are joined in date order and rows repeated by overlapping periods are removed. A gap in the balance chain is flagged.

Categories and summaries

Rows are tagged (salary, EMI, UPI, charges, interest, tax and more) and you can add your own rules. The Excel file includes Monthly and Category summaries built with live formulas.

See the source of any row

Click the eye icon to open the PDF page with the transaction highlighted, so any entry can be confirmed in a second.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and read inside your browser, and the Excel, CSV or Tally file is created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, which makes it suitable for client statements.
Is there a page limit or a paid plan?
No. There is no page limit, no daily limit, no watermark and no sign-up. Tally XML export, merging several PDFs and categories are included.
Which banks are supported?
The converter reads the transaction table by its column headings, so it works with most Indian bank statements in text-based PDF form. Layouts from Bank of Baroda and Kotak Mahindra Bank have been tested in detail, and the balance check shows right away whether any statement was read correctly.
How do I know the conversion is accurate?
Every row is checked against the running balance. If everything reconciles you see a green confirmation. Otherwise the rows that do not match are highlighted so you can compare them with the PDF and correct them.
Can it open a password-protected statement?
Yes. You will be asked for the password (often your customer ID, date of birth or mobile number). It is used only inside your browser to open the file.
Does it work with scanned statements?
Yes, as a beta. If a PDF has no text layer you can run OCR on your device. Numbers can be misread, so the balance check is especially important. A text-based PDF from net banking is always more accurate.
How do I import the result into Tally?
Choose Tally XML, enter your bank ledger name and a counter ledger such as Suspense A/c, then download the file. In Tally Prime use Import Data and select it. Turn on “Also create the ledgers” only if those ledgers do not exist yet.
Does it work for credit card statements?
It reads any table with a date column and amounts. Credit card statements usually have no running balance, so the rows are converted but the balance check cannot verify them. Review the totals yourself.
